Key Responsibilities

• Validate ETL data processes and ensure data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded.
• Perform data quality checks, data comparisons, and source-to-target validation.
• Develop SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and data engineers to resolve data discrepancies.
• Create and maintain ETL test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Work with large data sets and identify trends or anomalies in the ETL workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in ETL testing or database testing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data validation.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS (added advantage).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and workflows.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla) is preferred.
